Love is in the air and Cupid is hard at work. Have you stopped to smell the roses, or have you forgotten that Valentine’s Day is just around the corner? Welp, good thing there’s a Getaround just around the corner too.

Even though dinner reservations are running low for the 14th, there’s still the weekend and plenty of places with prix fixe and table d’hôte menus. Here are our drive + dine pairing recommendations to help you make this Valentine’s day, Galentine’s Day, or Single’s Awareness Day an unforgettable one.

San Francisco

Plenty of SF’s top restaurants require a reservation regardless of the day, but we’ll share a few that are sure to impress even if they aren’t the Michelin 3-star restaurants.

Kickoff the weekend early with a quick fifteen-minute drive to Marin County in this rosy red Lexus. Get the romantic feelings flowing with an ocean-view hike at Mount Tamalpais and end it with a perfect picnic at Stinson Beach. Head back over the hill just in time for your dinner reservations at Madcap for some of the “best food Marin has to offer”.

If hiking isn’t your forte, we recommend some local rest and recovery. Pick up a tantalizing red Tesla and snap a quick Insta story at Cupid’s span on the Embarcadero. Then head to Onsen Bath downtown for some official R&R. After all of your hard work relaxing, find yourself indulging in some fresh, local eats at either Frances or spice things up with some Mediterranean food worthy of fanfare at Tawla.

Home of the Red Sox, clam chowder, Good Will Hunting, and Tom Brady’s Patriots, Boston is second up on our list. While happy hour may not exist in this historic city, here’s what makes it ideal for the ultimate date night.

Respect bae’s resolution of being healthier by starting your day at one of the best indoor climbing gyms, Rock Spot in South Boston. Then hop in a chic Lexus RX and make your way to a sushi dinner at Fat Baby — no reservations required, but get there early for a good table.

You can also tap into your inner artist at The Paint Night Bar and pull up in style with this electric blue Mini. Then taste the wonders of Morocco at Tangierino — request a window table overlooking the street.

For the more active souls, Boston Ski & Sports Club is offering an overnight trip to Old Montreal for President’s Day, February 16-19. Get in a red Jeep 4×4 and head out to a snowy romantic (snowmantic?) getaway where you can try new moves… from this year’s Winter Olympics.

Want to know how to keep warm in the windy city? Here are few places for you to sport your new jacket and boots.

Begin the day by hoping in a red-hot Tesla Model X and heading to Garfield Park Conservatory. Then make your way back to downtown for authentic Italian food at Monteverde — don’t worry, they always save room for walk-ins.

If you’re thinking steak instead this Valentine’s Day, then let’s not forget Chicago’s greatest — RPM & Bavette’s. Pro tip: try the chocolate cream pie. You’re welcome in advance.

And if you’re thinking to get away from the city for the weekend, Route 66 does start in Chicago. Better start planning that road trip now.

New Jersey

Jersey might be the diner capital of the world, but this year impress your SO with more than the eggs and bacon because Jersey City’s restaurant scene is making moves.

Hop in a Mini this weekend and take a long stroll in Liberty State Park to work up an appetite. Nothing beats those waterfront views of Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. Then head to Chart House in Weehawken for dinner for even more views — pro tip, get the hot chocolate lava cake.

If you’re feeling a splurge coming on because you have a couple bitcoins to spare this  Valentine’s Day, live lavish and scoop a BMW to one of the most romantic getaways. A short two-hour drive north of Jersey will land you at the Crystal Springs Resort. With 2 hotels, 2 spas, 6 golf courses, horseback riding, and a Grand Award wine cellar, this is destined to be the perfect romantic escape.

If island life is more your style, there’s always making the quick drive over to New York.

You’ve done the microbreweries and coffee houses, so try something a little different this year.

Pick up this sweet hybrid Rav4 and surround yourself with over five thousand acres of fine foliage on a romantic stroll in Forest Park. You may want to head over to Le Pigeon for a taste of James Beard award-winning chef, Gabriel Rucker’s French-inspired menu.

Later that evening, you can find your way to the Oregon Symphony for some Tchaikovsky, Johnny Mathis, or John Williams. And if things go really well on Valentine’s date night, you might be hosting your wedding reception at Voodoo Doughnuts.

Washington D.C.

Chances of dining at The White House are slim, but a romantic paddle boat outside of the Jefferson Memorial sounds just about right. Politics aside, our capital is known for some of the best food our nation has to offer.

Here’s a real deal. Head to Via Umbria in a red Jeep Grand Cherokee for dinner and a movie… AND a glass of wine, pasta, dessert, and complimentary popcorn. Different ‘deal’ than what you were expecting, but a better deal.

If you want more face-to-face time, head to Logan Circle in a sleek Mercedes GLC and grab a table at the Belgian-inspired B Too. If you’re looking to impress your date a little more, head to the Top of The Gate at The Watergate Hotel. Its killer rooftop views, ice skating rink, and highly-rated dinner options will be unforgettable.
